Meet Carolyn W. Meier

Dentistry is about being thoughtful and considerate, as well as meticulous and diligent. In approaching each patient as an individual, I am able to learn of their unique needs and expectations, as well as their concerns. This allows me to design treatment that is appropriate for the person, as I help them develop a healthier, more becoming smile, and guide them to make informed decisions about their oral health.

I’ve been in private practice for over 20 years and treasure the relationships that have developed with those in my care. I love our interactions and getting to know them and their families. Each person has a story and I see them as someone with a past, present, and future, appreciating the whole of who they are and what they bring to my life.

Education and Experience

Caring for others has always been an important part of my life. In researching different healthcare career options, I was drawn to dentistry because of the impact that can be made by helping patients achieve and keep a healthy and beautiful smile.

I grew up in the Milwaukee area and attended Marquette University’s School of Dentistry. There I obtained my Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2000 and have been in practice since graduation.

As a dentist, I am most interested in providing a gentle, positive experience for each person. By taking my time, really listening to patients, and approaching each with respect and humility, I help set them at ease. This is important as patients learn I am here to help and genuinely care about their wellbeing. In turn, this leads to trust and a willingness for patients to accept education and guidance. My overall goal is helping patients understand the connection between oral and overall wellbeing and empowering each patient to take control of their health.

This goal is shared by everyone at Eastridge Dental: our team wants our patients to always feel comfortable, informed, heard, and at home in the practice. The patient experience is our number one priority.

Professional Affiliations and Continuing Education

I am an active member of the:
  • American Dental Association
  • Wisconsin Dental Association
  • Brown Door Kewaunee Dental Society

These organizations offer numerous opportunities for me to stay current on the latest developments in dentistry through continuing education. By keeping up-to-date on new materials, changes in techniques and methodologies, and emerging trends, I ensure patients are receiving the best care available.

Beyond the Office

My partner in life, and in the practice, is my husband, Dr. Dr. William Meier. We live in Suamico and have three children – a son and two daughters – plus a family dog, Wilbur. While I like to hike, exercise, travel, and work on sewing and crafting projects, my family tends to keep me busy. All three kids are swimmers, so I can often be found at swim meets. William and I are from larger families, too, and we gather often and enjoy one another’s company.
